2. A record of the system’s interpretation of the voter’s choices on the ballot that is created and stored by the electronic voting system. The voting system should be able to produce a report of these data. If the electronic system can export a file of the Cast Vote Records for all the ballots in a way that allows each ballot to be associated to its interpretation by the voting system, the file can be used for auditing purposes.
