“‘Masculine’ includes the feminine, and the ma sculine pronoun wherever used in this Title shall be construed to include the feminine.” N. J. S. A. §19:1-1. This provision does not indicate that New Jersey has unresolved gender issues, but is typical of state statutes that were overwhelming drafted using the masculine pronoun.
