Two or more commercial Information Assurance (IA) products layered together to address the security requirements of an operational use case according to Natio nal Security Agency (NSA) guidance. A composed solution, once approved by NSA, may take the place of a single certified Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) IA pro duct to provide the confidentiality and/or other security services necessary to protect National Security Systems.
