Definition

A particular type of contest in Flor ida, in which all voters may vote in a PRIMARY for a candidate who will be unopposed in the GENERAL ELECTION, regardless of their party of registration. Such voting would ordinarily not be permitted in a state with a CLOSED PRIMARY.
