Definition

(b) Duplicate the card without punching the location of the incompletely punched chip if: (1) The chip does not have at least one corner that is detached from the card; and (2) The fibers of paper on no edge of the chip are broken in a way that permits unimpeded light to be seen through the card. 5. Record the serial number of the duplicate ballot on the damaged original ballot and return the damaged and duplicate ballots to the appropriate ballot inspection board. 6.
