Definition

A voting system adopted in every jurisdiction in a state. Uniform systems exist in Alaska, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oklahoma and Rhode Island. See, e.g., Md. Elec. Code §9-101: “The voting system selected and certif ied for voting in polling places and the voting system selected and certified for absentee voting shall be used in all counties.”
