Definition

Use of a VOTING SYSTEM that has not yet been CERTIFIED. “With the approval of the State Board, the governing body of any county, city, or town may provide for the experimental use at an election in one or more election district s or precincts of a voting or counting system which it might legally adopt without a formal a doption thereof, and its use at such election shall be valid for all purposes.” Va. Code §24.2-630.
