Definition

Council established by DHS under 6 U. S. C. §451 to facilitate effective interaction and coordination of critical infrastructure activities among the Federal Government, the private sector, and State, local, tribal and territorial governments. (Source: CIPAC Charter) These meetings are exempt from the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) requirements that they be open to the public and provide meeting materials to the public.
